Mission

To inspire people to put love into action for the benefit of others.

In 2014, Tyler was a senior at Cosby High School and planned to attend the New Mexico Military Institute. He worked at the Children's Museum of Richmond in Chesterfield and was a US Sailing certified instructor.  Each summer he shared his passion of sailing with kids by teaching at various yacht clubs. Tyler was also a tennis player and could often be found on the courts of Woodlake.  Above all he valued time with his family and friends.  His strong faith gave him a special unconditional love for others.

The Tyler Patnaude Foundation (TPF) is a 501c3, non-profit, which exists to live out Tyler's legacy of friendship and giving to others.  In addition to our core efforts, TPF seeks to raise funds to support many community organizations, including but not limited to: youth sailing, junior tennis, UNOS, Donate Life, Hands on Healing, CZC, Woodlake Wishes and Turkey Trot.

In 2017, the Foundation reached a couple important strategic goals - awarding of our first two college scholarships and launching of FATHOM, a leadership institute for junior sailors, in partnership with Christopher Newport University.
